Biography
My name is Robin Marttila. The 2019-20 school year marks my 18th year of teaching. I teach Geometry, Algebra, Science 7, and Targeted Learning. I am also the Varsity Head Football Coach and the Junior Varsity Boy's Basketball Coach.
I am a 1997 graduate of Iron Mountain High School. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematical Sciences from Michigan Technological University in 2001. I also earned a Master's Degree from Marygrove College in 2005.
I am married to a "great woman", Jen, who works at MJ Electric in Iron Mountain. We have two kids who are proud Mountaineers, Ian (7th grade), Ava (5th grade), and two Shih Tzu dogs, Rosie and Lexi.
I really enjoy watching all sports (high school, college, and professional). In my free time you can find me on the treadmill or playing basketball. Even though I am terrible, I enjoy a round of golf with a few friends.
